F&H COM A/S approached HubBroker with the need to automate and standardize a complex and varied document exchange process. Their goals included:
- Order Integration: Orders were being received in multiple formats—OIOUBL, EDIFACT, HUBXML, PDF—via different channels like FTP, IMAP, and network folders. These needed to be accurately imported into their Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.
- Despatch Advice & Order Response: These documents were manually handled in PDF format and needed to be converted into customer-specific EDI formats (e.g., EDIFACT) and distributed accordingly.
- Invoice Exporting: Exported invoices from Dynamics 365 had to be sent securely and automatically to customers, matching the recipient’s required format and transfer method.
The core objective was to create an automated, end-to-end integration solution that reduced manual processing and provided a consistent flow of data across platforms.
The Solution:
To meet F&H COM A/S’s integration needs, HubBroker implemented a comprehensive EDI and ERP integration framework with the following capabilities:
- Order Integration: We developed a solution to capture incoming orders in multiple formats (OIOUBL, EDIFACT, HUBXML, PDF) and convert them into a unified XML format for seamless import into Microsoft Dynamics 365. This ensures complete order traceability and real-time data consistency.
- Despatch Advice & Order Response: Incoming PDFs are converted to the required EDI formats based on the customer’s specifications (e.g., EDIFACT) and securely delivered to each recipient via their preferred method (network, FTP, etc.).
- Invoice Processing: Invoices generated in Microsoft Dynamics 365 are automatically exported, converted, and transmitted to customers through secure channels, streamlining the invoicing process and eliminating manual file handling.
- Streamlined Document Workflow: We implemented full automation for order, invoice, and document workflows—reducing delays, increasing accuracy, and improving visibility across departments.
